Celebrating Silver Spoon in Bardney

British Sugar has for many years had a visual presence on the edge of the village by the river. The site has not been used to process sugar beet since the 1950s  but activity on site still remains. This year the company celebrated 100 years on the site and invited the village to join in the celebrations. Through the Parish Council they distributed bags of cake ingredients to individuals and organisations for them to make a cake for a celebration of their choice. Many cakes were made and enjoyed.
